Claude Code Course

Claude Code, taught on your own work.

A four-week live cohort. You install it in week one and demo a workflow you use every week in week four: skills, subagents, MCP connections and hooks included.

Curriculum

Four weeks, one repository, zero toy apps.

Planned program for the first cohort. Each week ends with something merged into your own project.

Week 1

Foundations that stick

  • Install, authenticate and pick a plan that fits
  • How Claude Code reads a repository
  • CLAUDE.md and project memory
  • Permissions and plan mode
  • Your first real task, shipped

Week 2

Skills and subagents

  • Writing a SKILL.md that triggers when it should
  • When a skill beats a long prompt
  • Subagents for research and review
  • Keeping the context window lean

Week 3

MCP and your tools

  • Connecting MCP servers: GitHub, Supabase, Obsidian
  • Scopes, secrets and what not to connect
  • An Obsidian-backed memory for your projects

Week 4

Automate and ship

  • Hooks that enforce your rules
  • Headless runs and scheduled jobs
  • Cost control and usage limits
  • Demo day: a workflow you use every week

Format

Two live 90-minute sessions a week, recordings, and office hours between them.

Cohort size

Small on purpose, so every project gets reviewed rather than skimmed.

You leave with

A repository with your CLAUDE.md, skills, MCP config and hooks, working on real tasks.

Waitlist

Seats go to the list first.

Dates and price go to the waitlist before anyone else. Joining doesn’t commit you to anything.

Questions

About the course

Is this Claude Code course for beginners?

Yes, if you’re willing to use a terminal. Week one starts at installation. Developers move faster through it and spend the extra time on skills and MCP.

How is it different from Anthropic’s free courses?

Anthropic Academy’s free courses are a good start, and I point you to them. This course is live, small and applied: you work on your own repository and get feedback on what you actually build.

What do I need to take part?

A computer you can install software on, a paid Claude plan or API access for Claude Code, and about five hours a week including the live sessions.

Is there a Spanish version?

Yes. The Spanish cohort follows the same program with sessions in Spanish. See the Spanish course page.
